Monte Tomeabrù offers a beautiful view over the Ledro Valley. It is a good alternative to the more frequented Cima Parì.
Along the route, the traces of the Great War are clearly visible. Rifugio Pernici was built to host Austrian officers. At Bocca Saval, the ruins of the old military hospital are present. The mountain pastures of Trat and Saval fill with colorful flowers in spring.

What to bring for a mountain trek?
In the backpack (for a day hike, a 25/30L pack is usually recommended) it is good to bring:
Wear footwear suitable for the route and the season. The trail surface may be uneven or rough, and a pair of boots will protect you from sprains. A grassy slope, a rock slab, or a steep path, if wet, can become dangerous without adequate footwear.
Lastly... don't forget the camera! It will serve to capture the hike and the countless breathtaking views that Garda Trentino hides around every corner. If you want to share your memories with us, you can use the hashtag #GardaTrentino
